Dragon Fruit Zinger Smoothie

Most people associate smoothies with summer. To that I say – Not in a vegan’s life (or lazy person!), they’re a year-round thing. Smoothies are a great way to get some nutrition in without a lot of effort. Not to mention at this time of  year –  we can use all of the nutrition we can get! (Realistically though, isn’t that always the case?)
This recipe is easy and requires little effort. You could even sub in regular water for coconut water if you’re in a pinch!

Dragon Fruit Zinger Smoothie


  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 200 mL coconut water
  • half a dragon fruit
  • half a teaspoon peppermint dried
  • 1 tsp frozen grated lemon


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Consume immediately.
