This smoothie is perfect for the times when you’re feeling low energy – since there is so much fiber and natural sugar, I would recommend drinking it in the morning/early afternoon to avoid being energized at a not so good time (ie. don’t drink this before bed or you’ll be up for a while.)
I called it “orange drank” because it tastes very similar to the Mcdonald’s orange “drink” of yesteryear. I suspect it tastes better though since chemicals never taste better than the real thing!
- 1 Carrot
- 1/2 a papaya
- 1 Orange, peeled (and de-seeded if needed)
- 1 apple
- 3/4 cup coconut water (feel free to add more to water it down if wanting)
- Ice cubes (I used 4)
Throw all ingredients into your blender…and blend.
Then, ENJOY! 😀
